Abstract

SMAIT Qurrota Ayun Abepura participated in the 2026 Provincial-Level Four Pillars of MPR RI Quiz Competition (LCC Empat Pilar MPR RI) for the first time and faced challenges related to limited preparation time and lack of prior competition experience. Several participants were also involved in an Islamic boarding school memorization program, which further constrained training schedules. This community service program aimed to strengthen students’ national insight and improve their readiness for the competition through intensive digital media-based mentoring. The program was conducted from May 12 to 18, 2026, involving ten students from grades X and XI. The mentoring activities included the development of a question bank based on the official competition guidelines, collaborative learning, group discussions, competition simulations, and the use of Wayground and SMART TV as interactive learning media. The results indicated that participants became more familiar with the competition materials and procedures, showed greater engagement in discussions, and demonstrated improved teamwork during training sessions and simulations. The use of digital media also contributed to a more interactive learning environment and encouraged active participation throughout the mentoring process. Therefore, intensive mentoring supported by digital media has the potential to serve as an effective strategy for strengthening national insight and enhancing students’ preparedness for national values-based competitions.
